SF wants tiger-maul survivor to pay $75000 for medical care

Kulbir Dhaliwal and his brother have sued the San Francisco Zoo and police department for injuries they suffered in the infamous Christmas 2007 tiger attack that left a friend dead. He suffered deep bite wounds and needed surgery on his knees
Now, the city has sued Kulbir Dhaliwal for more than $75,000 in unpaid medical expenses and want the money come out of any cash settlement he might receive from his negligence lawsuit.
