Medical provider to get one-year trial at new jail

INDIANA -- The Indiana County commissioners have approved a one-year contract for county jail inmate medical services after rejecting the idea of a proposed five-year deal.
The commissioners Tuesday approved the contract with Prime Care Medical Inc. for the required comprehensive medical services for inmates at the new Indiana County Jail. The jail is slated to be fully operational in early February.
